Necklaces, earrings and bracelets need no size. Rings are the highest-risk gift unless you know the size for certain.
Budget guidance
Under £50 buys solid sterling silver; under £100 buys gold vermeil; above £250 opens solid gold. Real precious metal exists at every level.
Presentation matters
The unwrapping is part of the gift. Signature packaging, a linen pouch and a handwritten note included as standard.
