Our Story
Melissima began with a frustration: jewellery was either disposable or untouchable. We wanted the middle — pieces beautiful enough to matter, and durable enough to never take off.
The beginning
Founded by Melissa, a designer who spent a decade watching customers buy jewellery they were afraid to wear, Melissima was built on a simple brief: make it precious, make it comfortable, make it last.
Designed in Britain
Every Melissima design starts as a hand sketch in our studio and is prototyped in wax before a single piece is produced. Nothing reaches the collection until it has been worn continuously for a month.
Where we are going
We are building a house known for restraint — for the pieces that quietly become someone's signature, rather than the ones that shout for a season.
